Hey, I'm sorry that happened. I can assure you that I had nothing to do with any trojan horse or anything like that.
I ran a scan on my computer and didn't get anything.
I can only assume that it is something with mediafire.

Do you know of a file hosting site that is trusted and I could upload files to?
I still have a few more songs I'd like to share. But, if this is gonna happen, then I would rather save everyone the grief instead of them having the same thing happen as you did.

Peace.

Edia fire is plaqued with popups, redirects and spam, upload here, trust me.

Open source audio is a good starting place until you get signed by a fake ass netlabel or even get a bunch of groupies and create your own etree section like the maykers and brian adams.

joe ... definitely not anything to do with your file, which i just downloaded and popped into my player; a lotta fileshare sites have all sorts of adware and tracking cookies and junk like that, but whether or not the bad stuff affects your computer has more to do with how one has their computer set up; not to mention that anti-virus/spyware programs often give false positives for files that are probably safe

if i can recommend a pretty cool site for sharing files, it's only 100MB maximum that you can have on your account at any one time, but for sharing .mp3 files like you are doing, it's great

check it out here: http://drop.io/

the drop.io site is amazingly easy to use, no adware, no viruses, give it a go if you're of a mind to

by the way, nice song, i look forward to the others

edit: i should mention that after you've created your drop.io site you can set your preferences so that others can't upload stuff onto your page (it works both ways); been a while since i've set my page up, but pay attention to the preferences

Thank you very much. I'm gonna check out that drop.io site. I'm gonna try and post a few more songs in the next day or two for anyone who's interested.

Peace.

Couldn't you just upload on this site (Open Source Audio)?
